oday’s update is mostly the same as yesterday’s with the exception
of the “TODAY” and “POT” section. We were closed yesterday due to
the MLK holiday that the rest of the world doesn’t observe.

More craziness. The markets opened up a little, fell and then ran higher. At the end of the day the Dow was up 190 and oil was at about $49. The markets were down 226 points for the week.
TODAY
Oil was down roughly $1.26 (around 47.88) yesterday. The E-minis were in a tight $6-$9 range, but on both sides of the unchanged line. Meanwhile the USD was up again the Euro while the Swiss Franc is up against the Euro (slightly).
With all this going on it is STILL tough to make a call on market direction; however, I would think there is a little calming down in the markets due for us, with a little upside potential. Just a hunch, nothing more.
POT is held each Wednesday night at 7:00pm eastern.

Continuation on the best way to spread off a vertical spread and VOTE on which convoluted to do during earnings season.
A long week concluded with another risk reversal that was spread off handsomely with $20 separation on the calls and $30 separation on the puts.
